Yes, I know it's late...what am I still doing awake?!?! Anywho, Bear just called! He is now in Italy, via Greece. He couldn't call from Greece because the only way to use their phones was to use a credit card...yeah, that wasn't about to work. But, he is doing great. He is taking commercial flights the whole way back, which means he gets to fly in civies! Each stop so far has left him grounded for at least 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours. His next stop should be Portugal, and who knows from there! He wanted me to let everyone know that he is doing very well and can't wait to get home! Well, I really need to get to bed now, but I will keep posting updates as I hear more from him.

Hi Erin, thanks for the update!!! I figured he'd call when he could. He's Bear afterall and doesn't want you to worry. I sure wish we had a globe to follow the path of this trip home. Fascinating.
